Kevin Durand (Legion, Lost) was cast as “The Commander” in DJ Caruso’s I Am Number Four. Now, he’s signed on for yet another film with DreamWorks SKG, the Shawn Levy-directed Real Steel starringHugh Jackman.
Real Steel is set in a future in which robots fight in the boxing ring. Jackman plays a former boxer-turned-manager who reunites with his estranged son (Dakota Goyo) to take his fighter to the championships. Kevin Durand will play a Texan robot boxing promoter.
Real Steel is slated to hit theaters on November 18th, 2011.
